California Statewide Education Technology Services

The California SETS projects are funded by the California Education Technology Office as a service to every California educator and administrator.

Schools and districts throughout the state of California are making greater use of technology on a daily basis. If you're responsible for planning, installing and maintaining this technology, the TechSETS Web site can provide the assistance you need. www.techsets.org

CLRN makes it easy for you to find the standards-aligned software, video and Internet learning resources you need. CLRN experts have identified, reviewed and organized hundreds of Electronic Learning Resources (ELRs) in a searchable database that allows you to compare key features of selected resources. The Web Information Links (WILs) let you search or browse hundreds of free primary, secondary and reference resources. Electronic Learning Assessment Resources (ELARs) are data management programs that simplify delivery, aggregation and disaggregation of assessment data. www.clrn.org

Located at portical.org is information that will help administrators in finding resources to assist in the day-to-day needs of their jobs, whether they are site level principals or district superintendents. These resources have been collected and organized by a cadre of technology-savvy, practicing administrators and met criteria judged to be of value to other administrators.

The Portal also has an easy to use threaded discussion area where one can post a question or discuss an item of importance, and receive input from administrators across the nation. There are many other resources embedded in this Portal, such as columns for administrators, quick surveys, profiles of technology leadership and other interesting facts. www.portical.org
